Properly adding water to a steam mop requires following four steps: "Power off-Select Water-Control Quantity-Seal." The key is to use distilled or purified water and avoid tap water. Calcium and magnesium ions in tap water easily form scale during heating, adhering to the heating plate and steam pipes. This can extend preheating time by up to 40%, or even clog the nozzles and shorten the machine's lifespan. Distilled or purified water minimizes scale formation, ensuring stable steam pressure output.

Power Off, Ensure Safety
Before adding water, always unplug the power cord or turn off the switch to prevent electric shock or accidental scalding.
If the machine has just cooled down to below 50°C before operation, avoid opening the lid at high temperatures to prevent steam splashing.
Choose the appropriate water source: Distilled or purified water must be used.
Do not use tap water: Long-term use will cause scale buildup on the heating element. Actual tests show that after 15 consecutive uses, the scale thickness can reach 0.3mm.
Recommended to use distilled or purified water: This can effectively extend the equipment's lifespan and maintain steam dryness and cleaning efficiency.
Do not add any additives: Such as alcohol, disinfectant, antibacterial liquid, etc., which may corrode the sealing ring or interfere with the temperature control system.
Accurately fill water to the MAX mark
Open the water tank lid and slowly pour in clean water, keeping the water level below the MAX mark. Do not exceed the 1.5-liter limit.
Overfilling will cause pressure fluctuations in the steam generator, resulting in condensate leakage and wet spots on the floor.
It is recommended to use the original measuring cup or electronic scale to accurately control the water volume (total weight difference ≤ 1.5kg). Tighten the water tank cap to ensure a tight seal.
After adding water, tighten the water tank cap, ensuring the sealing ring is fully engaged in the groove to prevent steam leakage during heating.
After installation, gently shake the main unit to check for any looseness or leaks.
